The association's purpose is to reconnect all alumni and provide opportunities
for both social and civic activities. We also believe we share an obligation
to our current Mustang Band and future alumni. The association will support

The Clifton Mustang Band Alumni Association awards three scholarships
annually at the Annual Awards Dinner to senior band members who will be
using dues and fundraising money. Two scholarships honor former band
director Robert D. Morgan, and our first drum majorette,
Marie Vullo-Giunta. In addition, a scholarship honoring former band director Stanley Opalach is awarded to a Clifton Community
Band member. A fourth scholarship, The John and Margaret Donkersloot Scholarship, is funded annually
by their children, all band alumni. The annual $3000 scholarship will be given by their children, John Donkersloot,
Diane Drake, Janice Ice and Barbara Skelly, all Mustang Band alumni, to honor
their parents for their support in all their children's
activities throughout their school years. The scholarship will be awarded
based on the recipient's demonstration of motivation, commitment, teamwork
and leadership during their time in the band. According to the siblings,
their parents encouraged them to participate and supported them with their
